Rhyeman's showroom
Our showroom is located in Rijmenam, a charming Belgian village situated halfway between Antwerp and Brussels. Housed in a former furniture factory, the space has been thoughtfully restored with respect for the building’s original character and industrial past.
Today, it functions as a curated design showroom. Across approximately 350 m² of exhibition space, we present a carefully evolving collection - a harmonious blend of design furniture, contemporary artworks and archaeological artifacts. One of the space’s most striking features is the monumental two-story library wall, filled with an eclectic mix of objects and treasures.
The showroom also serves as our office, so every piece is selected with care, reflecting the environment we love to work in. It’s not a sterile, white-cube gallery; instead, it’s a warm and inviting space where furniture interacts organically with art and objects, creating a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.
Visits are by appointment only. In addition, we regularly host exhibitions, offering new perspectives on the collection and the dialogue between design, art and objects.
In-house design & long-term collaborations
Alongside a carefully curated selection of 20th-century design, we collaborate closely with a select group of designers and furniture makers to create bespoke pieces. Craftsmanship, material integrity and a profound respect for traditional techniques lie at the heart of these long-term partnerships.
We regularly develop unique works together with Belgian woodworkers and furniture makers, renowned for their exceptional skill, refined finishing and use of high-quality materials. Our network also includes trusted upholsterers and leather artisans, allowing us to approach each project with the same level of care and precision across disciplines.
In addition, we proudly collaborate with contemporary artists and designers, fostering an ongoing dialogue between art, design and craftsmanship. Their work is presented throughout the showroom, alongside twentieth-century design icons.
